You want to see your child thrive and reach their full potential.

It is difficult to watch your child or teen struggle. Whether they are having challenges in the classroom, navigating peer relationships and the ups and downs of middle or high school, experiencing feelings of anxiety, anger, sadness, or depression, or acting out, it can be challenging to know how best to connect to and help them.

Child therapy can help. With the right support, your child can experience improved communication, self-regulation, and development into the person they would like to be, and you can feel confident supporting them every step of the way.

 Our Approach to Child Therapy

Bridgepoint is here to support your child at home, in the classroom, and in life.

Through building a relationship with your child and understanding what they are feeling and experiencing, we can help them process big emotions, build skills to better engage with others, and learn new strategies to self-regulate, cope with stress, and respond in healthy ways to challenging situations.

We will engage with your child or teen using warm, creative, age-friendly methods that include talk therapy, play therapy, and sand tray therapy to allow them to open up and communicate in the way that is best for them. Each of our child therapists has experience in the school system and can also support you in developing IEPs, identifying the right support for your child, and connecting you to additional resources in the community.

Support for Families

We understand that supporting a struggling child and navigating their school system, while also understanding your own reactions and the needs of other family members, can feel overwhelming. We are here to support parents, your children, and other family members to develop new skills to strengthen communication and healthy functioning. Our team is available to support parents individually or together with your child and/or the entire family, based on your family’s needs.
