Doctoral Advanced Therapy Extern

Providing a collaborative space for connection, understanding, and meaning in loss.

No loss or transition is the same and I am committed to meeting you where you are on your journey.

Loss can come in many forms, whether it be from a significant relationship ending, retirement, moving to a new city, the death of a loved one, or a recent diagnosis.

Following loss you may be grappling with what the future will look like, how to engage in your relationships, or like an important part of your identity has changed.

No matter what, loss changes us. Sometimes it impacts our relationships, making it difficult to connect or feel understood by the people around you. Other times, it’s in how we experience the day-to-day—losing that “spark” you used to feel as you go through life on autopilot.

I work with adults across the lifespan who are wrestling with big questions about themselves and their experiences related to grief, change, and uncertainty. Together we create a space to explore what “it all means.”

My work is collaborative and grounded in a deep respect for you and your experiences. I’ll take the time to understand where you’re at—never forcing you to fit the “mold” of a particular approach or a pre-set agenda for therapy. Our work together will thoughtfully shift and adjust as we define what is helpful, right, and comfortable for you.

If you’re seeking a place to explore your experiences, find meaning, and gain new insight as you navigate this season of loss and transition, I would love to support you.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Michigan and my Master of f Arts in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCS). I am now pursuing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at TCS.

My areas of research include military sexual trauma and food and addiction science. Most recently, I have supported individuals diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers in both individual and group settings.
