Helping you better understand yourself and your relationships to find stability, meaning, and purpose.

I help children, teens, and adults feel empowered as they work through past trauma, discover areas for growth, and gain new insight into their individual strengths & experiences.

Are you or your child noticing patterns in life that feel restrictive or unhelpful? Perhaps you find it difficult to trust people or to maintain romantic or peer relationships that feel fulfilling. Maybe things are strained at school or home as you find it difficult to relate to and communicate with one another.

Our past experiences have a way of shaping us, often in ways we do not even realize at the time. Sometimes it is due to something specific, and other times it is the nature of the systems and culture we live in. If you experienced traumatic events early in life, this is especially true—the impacts look different as we get older.

I specialize in supporting clients who want to gain a better understanding of what’s led them to where they are today in addition to gaining practical skills to process their experiences, identify their strengths, and find stability and fulfillment in their lives. I work with clients of all ages and from all backgrounds, believing that their cultural and religious backgrounds, communities, and relationships all influence the way they experience the world and the work we do together.

As your therapist, I will meet you where you are at with empathy and the accountability to help you reach your unique goals for therapy.

I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver. Much of my work has been in supporting local communities, working with people of all ages, from children through adults, in culturally and economically diverse populations.

I also have experience working with incarcerated individuals, trauma survivors, survivors of gender-based violence, refugees, and students with diagnoses including autism and bipolar disorder.

I am a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Psychological First Aid, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
