As a parent or guardian, you want to see your child thrive.

It is extremely difficult to watch your child experience challenges in school or at home. Whether they’re facing difficult emotions, significant life transitions, attentional or learning concerns, or developmental delays, more than anything, you want them to be okay. I believe that while these things may feel overwhelming today, we can equip your child to do their best at home, at school, and in life.

I specialize in a collaborative therapeutic approach for children as young as 3 and young adults. Together we seek out creative ways to engage in therapy using talk, play, & art that fosters growth and accomplishment of goals.

It is also important that you, as a parent or guardian, also feel equipped to support your child. As your child’s therapist, I will also help you develop strategies to manage difficult situations, communicate effectively with your child, and even navigate the school system to ensure they’re set up for success.

I attained my doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Midwestern University in 2019, and my master’s degree in clinical counseling from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2015. I completed an APA-accredited internship and post-doctoral fellowship at MiraCare (previously Palos Behavioral Health Professionals), a private group practice in Palos Heights, IL. While there, I had the privilege of conducting psychological assessment as well as offering individual and group therapy to children and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, attentional concerns, communication difficulties, poor body image and self-esteem, parenting challenges, adjustment to college, and life transitions.

I have previously trained at Advocate Children’s Hospital where I learned to conduct psycho-educational assessment and interact closely with education teams to ensure each student had access to an optimal learning environment that met their needs. While there, I also provided behavior therapy to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. I have also trained in a hospital setting providing psychological assessment to individuals in crisis.

In addition to clinical work, my clinical research has focused on the relationship between physical activity, body image, and self-esteem in young girls.
